While husking corn this evening, this was part of the conversation Caroline and I had-
Mom: "Caroline, don't bite the ears(of corn), they're not cooked yet."
Caroline: "Mom, those aren't ears, there's no mouth, they're not even people"
I couldn't help but laugh!

I think she gets this from you, Kadi! It sounds just like the story Grandpa would tell about you when he said "Kadi, your shoes are on the wrong feet." And you said, "But Dad, I don't have any other feet to put them on" haha
